Altheria Caldera

Altheria Caldera is an assistant professor of reading and language arts at Howard University and the director of the D.C.-Area Writing Project., a chapter of the National Writing Project, which provides professional development and leadership opportunities for P-16 teachers. Previously, she was as an education policy fellow with the Intercultural Development Research Association in San Antonio, where she proposed and shaped education policy and advocated racial equity before the Texas state legislature.
